Interacting with the Presenter
During the seminar you will be able to ask questions of the presenters. Questions can be asked by submitting a chat message or by phone.  Questions are welcome at any time so you don’t have to try and remember them till the end of the seminar.  The workshop may also include live polling, so you can gauge how others across the country are handling the same issues you face.

Attending web seminars is very easy and convenient. There is no travel involved, in fact, you don’t even need to leave your office.  All you need is a telephone for the audio portion and a computer with an internet connection (Windows based) to view the slides and other information presented during the training. No special hardware is required. This technology is fully supported on Mac computers as well.

Invite Colleagues for Even More Value: You can invite your colleagues, volunteers and other staff members to participate in the web seminar– all for one low registration fee! The registration fee is per site, not per person.  Gather 10 people in a conference room and have a great, cost-effective learning experience.   We encourage you to invite as many colleagues as you can.  A group makes for a better learning experience.

The audio portion of the workshop is delivered over the telephone for reliable and clear sound quality. We recommend that you use a speakerphone if several staff members are participating. This is a controlled environment that has the feel of a talk radio program.

The visual information is delivered via the internet. It is like watching a slide presentation with the added value of having the speaker available to explain the slides, forms, etc. If a group will be participating, you might want to use a large monitor or projector connected to your computer that will allow everyone to see the information.

Seminar handouts and any supplemental materials will be made available to you prior to the seminar, when applicable. Depending upon the topic and the presenter; some seminars will have handouts.  When a seminar has reference materials, you will be able to download them a few days prior to the seminar. You can choose to print the seminar materials for note-taking purposes if you like. You are permitted to duplicate them so all participants will have a hard copy.
